Module 2

At my school a small group of teachers decided to meet once a week to work on the Web 2 course. It has definitely helped so far. Being able to discuss the modules with others and work through them together makes it all a bit easier. Today we watched the instructional video on how to link our blog to the wiki. The instructional video was very easy to follow and demonstrated another great tool we can use in the class. Reading about blogs and how they can be used in the classroom has been very interesting. I have been an infants teacher for almost 5 years so I have not yet used a blog with my any of my classes.  I am currently teaching Year 1 so it is going to be difficult setting up a blog with my students but I'm definitely willing to give it a go. Motivation is always such an important part of teaching and the children would be so excited to see their published posts. May need to get the parent helpers in to give them a hand.
